As “Saving Mes Aynak” was selected as Tricycle’s February Film Club pick, Professor and Director Brent E. Huffman updates on Mes Aynak on the Magazine. Please read!

Since the world premiere of Saving Mes Aynak in 2014, we witnessed more hardships and frustrating developments on the grounds of Mes Aynak. But Director Brent E. Huffman stays firm in hope and determination: Saving Mes Aynak was set to make Mes Aynak a UNESCO World Heritage Site and permanently stop any mining from ever happening at the site. Though this has not yet happened, it is not too late.
